We have learned that no matter the age or the background, there is something about a farm that brings out the joy and self-worth in others.
A proud mother sent us a picture of her young
son sharing the chicken he caught with his classmate who was confined to a
wheelchair. She told us her son was
determined to catch the chicken because he knew his friend couldn’t. She was so proud of him for thinking of
someone else. The scene was repeated
with the baby goats, baby bunnies, and little kittens. This is a picture I will cherish forever as a reminder why we do what we do.
